I bought them on a pit stop on our way back to Oxford from Knoxville when there was a Dick's Sporting Goods store by our Panera Bread. Joe was dyyyinngg to go in there and I needed some new tenny boppers anyway. I picked these out really quick and tried them on and they felt fine.
Once I started wearing them at home, however, I noticed that they felt really weird on my arch but everyone told me that I would get used to it. A few weeks ago, I ran on the treadmill at my gym and woke up the next morning with a weird pain in my foot. I decided it would go away on its own, so I just ignored it. After a few days I realized that I was lame (we looked up the definition - crippled, especially in the foot) and Joe was getting embarrassed of my limp.
I went to the doctor thinking that I had a stress fracture, but she decided it was all because of my tennis shoes!! She told me to take Aleve and wear different shoes. It took two weeks, but my foot is finally starting to feel better! I was getting scared that I would be limping forever and become handicapped like fat Tabitha from Tommy's work. Tabitha refused to walk down the stairs when there was a fire alarm and said that fire fighters had to come up and carry her down because she was "handicapped" (fat.) LUCKILY, I am almost back to normal and will never buy tennis shoes because they look cool again. Lesson learned.
