Having a Stay-at-Home Fiance isn't all that bad!

Asparagus and quail

Now, if I can just get him to start doing my laundry!

Shrooms

Turning 27 wasn't that great in general, but one very interesting thing did happen... I started to like mushrooms! Now I have to figure out ways to eat them. Mission accepted.

Weekend Update

I have been missing from the blog world for a while, so you are going to get a super quick re-cap of all the weekends up until now! Here goes..

We went to Fairhope for Patrick and Kristie's wedding at Pilot Farms and stayed in the Demeranville's "camp house" with 1000 of our closest friends.

Pretty house! Sorry it's tiny

We finally sent out our Save the Dates, and used my mom's new Mother's Day stamp from Ryan for the return address.

pics coming soon..

My helper.
I think I got carpel tunnel..
but at least we both lived through it.

Unlike someone else

You may have seen this dessert on Pinterest... cookies, oreos, and brownies all smashed together. My boss made it for us at work. Word to the wise...DON'T eat it!!! I felt sick for 24 hours after I did.

I guess there is such a thing as too much dessert

Joe graduated with his MBA! His family came up to help celebrate. I am so proud of him for everything he has done this year, he sure made it look easy!
Sorry Uncle Bill, ,your picture is tiny too!
After dinner on Friday, walking around the Square

I only marry professionals

Discussing MBA things

Graduating with his buddies

Meredith's Champagne and Burger celebration
at the University Club on the Square.

Cheers to no more classes!

Continuing the celebrating at the Library

Mother's Day breakfast before everyone left town

Tommy and Tracy came to Oxford over Memorial Day to go to a friend's wedding. We had a great time hanging with them... They were not prepared for the college atmosphere, but they sure had a fantastic time!

 Blurry picture - seems fitting

We were bored on Memorial Day since we were the only humans in Oxford, so we entertained ourselves by laying out (until it started pouring rain) and Joe attempted cooking ribs for the first time.

 Success! They were delicious.

We went to Birmingham for the Martina wedding, and spent Saturday at Avondale Brewing Company. Here is our flight of beers..

It was a dog fest all weekend, which made people who don't have a dog very jealous. Here is the cutest one of all, Mr. Duke Jensen!

 New family pic

We got to meet little Libby Nash on Sunday before we left - she is the tiniest and sweetest little baby ever.

She said she wasn't mad at me
for missing her baby shower.

I think that should catch you up! I'm sure I forgot one million things..
