Straight from Chatom

Here is the latest from Uncle Bill's garden..

Lady cream peas (maybe? That's what Southern Living says anyway.) I didn't think that me and Joe's relationship was going to last through the shelling process. Lots of tension, competition, and messes - peas everywhere.

Finally, we got this!

Then I got in trouble for putting conecuh sausage in the peas and "ruining their healthiness" blah blah blah

I thought they were the tastiest peas ever! I could eat them for every meal. Oh yeah - there are also Chatom onions in the peas..

"Veggie" plate! Thanks Uncle Bill!!!!

In other vegetable news, this raw zucchini salad is pretty good if you have any zucchini that you need to use.

Tastes like tzatziki sauce!

  1. Peas I know how to deal with... but tzatziki sauce is another matter entirely. Send me your zucchini salad recipe when you have time!

  2. Haha I was the exact opposite! Should have credited my mom for the peas. Click on the words zucchini salad and see if it takes you to the recipe!
