Doin Bruin

MBA people like to name their weekends.. and this one was called Doin Bruin. So crazy. We drove four hours to go to Robin's lakehouse and celebrate her birthday for the weekend with a group of people.. I was overly excited about laying out as it was the first chance of the year for me! Lake Bruin is in Louisiana and the place we stayed was in a really small town called (help Joe, I cant remember.) The house was super cool and slept a ton of people.

We got there late Friday night and I woke up early Saturday to get into the sun ASAP. Robin and I were the only early risers and we had a good couple of hours by ourselves to work on our t a n (or maybe I should say work on our pale bodies.)

After everyone got up, some boys went swimming and then we went for a boat ride on their boat that holds one million people. It was kind of a party barge, which I loved. Joe went tubing with Tim, and it turns out they aren't a great team. Some people went skiing. I stayed on the boat because the water was approximately 3 degrees.

We cooked burgers that night and Joe and I impressed everyone with our cheese plate (of course.) The weekend ended too soon, and the four hour drive home was not very fun. Going to the lake REALLY makes you want to go to the beach!!
