Last weekend was the Double Decker Arts and Music Festival in Oxford, and Joe was ready to get into festival mode. We went out Friday night and then Saturday walked up to the square to check out all of the arts and crafts for sale.
I tried to act as much like Joe as possible because I am terrible in crowds and don't like touching sweaty strangers. I observed Joe and noticed that he pretty much just walked blindly where he wanted to and when he ran into someone he was like "It's cool brah", so I tried my best to do the same. He said that is how you have to act at a festival. After we looked at everything and ate a snow biz (it was extremelyyy hot) we went back to my house and then headed to The Links for a daiquiri party.
Check out this party attendee:
Sipping his pink lemonade!
When we were ready to head back up to the square to listen to some music, we made Tim go take a shower and get ready. After about twenty minutes we went to get him, and it appeared that he hadn't done a thing. He assured us that he took a shower and put back on the same clothes.
We saw Mavis Staples sing gospel music and Take a Load Off. Then Tim and I decided to walk into Lenora's and get some wine...
Couldn't get enough of Tim's outfit!!
Later we went to the Round Table where this happened.
We are still icing people?
Long night! Good weekend.
